I used the USB cable that it came with, have it set to PC mode, have restarted computer and unplugged/plugged back in 100 times. I even tried a different USB to micro USB cable and same result. How common are faulty units? When you launch up the ASTRO Command Center and it asks you to connect a device in PC mode, leave the window open, disconnect the USB cable from the MixAmp, ensure your MixAmp is in PC mode and then reconnect the USB cable.
