Winter is starting to move along…We experienced some brutal weather last week which helped us gain a lot of ice. 12-20 inches is common in most places around the Devils Lake basin. Again, use extreme caution near culvert, bottle neck, bridge, and ridges as ice can vary greatly in these areas.

Not great, but there are still Walleyes and Perch deep. A lot of the Perch are on the smaller side, but we managed quite a few 9-10 inchers with a few 11-12’s mixed in. The only problem with fishing in deeper than 33 feet of water, they are probably all dead.
